Abstract

This Dissertation / Report is the outcome of investigation carried out by the creator(s) / author(s) at the department/division of Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysore mentioned below in this page.

Item Type: Student Project Report
Additional Information: Degradation of Tech – HCH isomers were done using microbial consortium and immobilized cells. The degradation in shake flask was faster using microbial consortium. The degradation took slightly more time with immobilized cells. The same pattern were observed was in lab scale reactor. The immobilized cells degrade HCH at slower rate than whole cells, but it could be concluded that with slightly more optimization, immobilized cells could be used in degradation.
Uncontrolled Keywords: immobilized cells degradation Pesticides
