Additional Information: This report gives a brief introduction of Database, RDBMS, and also explains about the Performance Tuning and Monitoring of SQL server. This explains about the Performance problems in the database. There are many reasons for these problems like weak design, inefficient queries, poor use of indexes, and out of the data statistics. Monitoring and tuning the major four areas as SQL related, Systems Environment,Indexes and Hardware Bottlenecks, can improve the performance of the database. This report also explains about the various SQL server tools and objects that are used to increase the Performance by utilizing the SQL server’s resources efficiently. The main goal of this project is to increase the performance of the database application.
