Abstract
The utilization of coffee by-products (husks, pulp, spent grounds) as manure and fuel, as an adjunct for blending with roasted coffee powder (roasted husk, up to 30%), for extraction of furfural, as a microbiological medium, as cattle feed (up to 25% coffee skins or hulls in diet of calves or young cows), and in fermentation and allied industries (e.g. production of oil, caffeine, alcohol, vinegar) is briefly discussed.
