Additional Information: Database systems store information in every conceivable business environment. From large tracking databases such as airline reservation systems to a child's baseball card collection, database systems store and distribute the data that we depend on. This makes the security of database a very important factor. Since Oracle database has got a very sound security system, it is really useful to develop applications on Oracle and enabling troubleshooting for database administration. The project goes through understanding the basic concepts related to Oracle database and then applying these concepts for the trouble shooting of various problems frequently faced by the DBA as well as the development of application working as a client. D2K is an inbuilt tool associated with oracle database which utilizes the server client approach of the oracle to a large extent to generate forms and report which allows faster and efficient access to the database. With the release of newer and more sophisticated versions of software it has become very important to develop a migration path from the older versions of oracle to the current one for optimal utilization of the advanced features offered by them.
