Abstract
Three simple spectrophotometric methods have been developed for the determination of di-t-butyl hydroquinone in commercial samples and oils based on the formation of coloured species with Fe (III) - 1,10- orthophenanthrolein (method A) or Fe (III)-2,2'bipyridyl (method B) or Folin-Ciocalteu reagent (F-C) (method C).
