Abstract
Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) is the most harmful among the mycotoxins present in food and feed, and it may lead to hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in humans and animals. Therefore, limiting its exposure to humans and livestock is very much essential. The present study aims to characterize the probiotic potential of Bacillus licheniformis and to assess the efficacy to detoxify AFB1 contaminated feed.
