Abstract
(i) Bumthang, (ii) Sunhi 5104 and (iii) Kenya White var. sunflower seeds had oil contents ranging from 45.7 to 50.9% (w/w). Highest husk:kernel ratio (w/w) was 1:1.1 in (iii) and lowest was 1:2.2 in (ii). Little variation was found in fatty acid composition among the var.; linoleic acid content range was 65.8-66.0%.
