The corrugated fibreboard (CFB) food packaging industry in India is discussed, in sections which cover: historical milestones in development of the CFB industry, both globally and specifically in India; functions of CFB boxes; development of the CFB industry in India; raw materials; conversion (types of papers used in India, conversion and design); adhesives; machinery; printing; design; testing methods and standards; test equipment; disposability; technical support; government policies; and challenges currently facing this industry.
