Abstract

In the present study the effects of feeding albino rats on diets based on wheat and L. sativus or on the latter alone, on the acetylation of p-aminobenzoic acid, body composition and on certain liver enzymes, have been studied. The effects of addition of ,B-aminopropionitrile (the toxic factor of L. odoratus) to a L. sativus diet have also been studied.
