Additional Information: | A study was conducted to initiate the degradation of arabinoxylans present in finger millet by controlled germination (malting) by inducing hydrolytic enzymes such as xylanase, xylosidase and arabinofuranosidase. Extensive data was generated with respect to xylanase from finger millet malt with respect to its purification and its action on several arabinoxylans isolated from cereal brans. |
