Abstract

Bacterial amylase obtained from wheat bran
medium has been subjected to different purification
techniques with a view to evolve a
method suitable for large-scale manufacture.
A procedure suggested gives a preparation
which is 171 times more active than the
original preparation on the basis of total solids
and 48 times on the basis of total nitrogen.
