Abstract

<p align="justify">Drying studies on the dehulled wet sesame seed containing 42-45 per cent moisture on wet basis, have been done. The methods of drying studied are (a) sun-drying, (b) cross-flow, (c) through-flow, and (d) pneumatic flash. Through-flow drying was the ideal for drying wet sesame seed and the optimum conditions have been outlined.</p>
