Additional Information: The inquiries from the customer could be considered as the main source of customer information. For building the relationship with the customers, who are at the centre of developing business, the relevant customer information is considered to be essential. The Customer Information Database which could store enormous information about the customer is an important way of maintaining the relationship with the customers. This also serves in the segregation and identification of potential customers for follow up thus leading to business development. This study mainly explored the potential of utilization of the customer inquiries (letters, e-mails, walk-in customers) towards the creation of a Customer Information Database. The study also includes the suggestions in the form of strategies and models which could facilitate the Customer Inquiry Management towards the development of the customer information database.
