Abstract

The suitability of different packaging materials for the packing of walnuts has been studied under different conditions of temperature and relative humidity. Polyethylene film of 300 gauge, on account of its insect and moistureproof properties and amenability to fumigation after packaging, is the most suitable material for packaging walnut kernels.
