Abstract

Storage behaviour of raw groundnut oil in high density polyethylene (200 and 300 gauge) and polypropylene film (300 gauge) pouches were studied under 27 degree C, 65% RH and 38 degree C, 92% RH storage conditions. The oil appeared to keep well in these pouches for 3-4 months as evident from analyses of peroxide value, free fatty acids and organoleptic tests.
