Abstract

After describing briefly the methods employed for the manufacture of various types of plastics laminates, the authors have tabulated the physico-chemical properties of 14 laminates, and indicated their useful properties and applications. Examples are given of the choice of suitable laminates for the packaging of fried banana chips, ground spice powders, egg powder, and dehydrated mushrooms.
