Abstract

Food grains and oilseeds (180 samples) collected in Mysore City (India) were analysed for ochratoxin content. Ochratoxin contents (parts/billion) determined in various samples were: corn, 30-50; wheat, 30-50; sorghum, 50-70; groundnut seed, 50-2000; and ragi, 70. No ochratoxin was detected in rice, coffee and pulses.
