Abstract

PESTAB. A thin-layer chromatography (TLC) method for the determination of the broad spectrum systemic fungicide carbendazim or methyl-2- benzimidazole carbamate (MBC) is described. After development, the plates were sprayed with the chromogenic reagent O-tolidine and potassium iodide, which enhances the detection limit. Recoveries ranged from 93.2% to 104%.
