Additional Information: | Peptides F1U(8) and F3U(3,8) were synthesized by SPPS using Fmoc chemistry, on Rink Amide AM Resin. The peptides were cleaved and precipitated. They were analysed by analytical HPLC and ESI-MS which indicated the presence of the desired peptides. The crude peptides were then subjected to preparative HPLC and the collected fractions for the major peaks were analyzed by ESI-MS. Pure fractions were pooled and lyophilized. The pooled fractions were cross-checked for purity by analytical HPLC and ESI-MS. Thus, two peptides F1U(8) and F3U(3,8) containing Aib were characterized and purified successfully. |
