Abstract
This Dissertation / Report is the outcome of investigation carried out by the creator(s) / author(s) at the department/division of Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysore mentioned below in this page.
Item Type: | Student Project Report |
---|---|
Additional Information: | This project mainly describes the solvent extraction method for extracting oil from oil seeds. This report describes the structure of Armfield Solvent Extraction Unit and effect of various parameters mainly the temperature on the extraction of oil from soya flakes and wheat bran. It gives the efficiency of Armfield Solvent Extraction Unit by comparing the results with the results obtained from Soxhlet Apparatus for Oil Estimation. It presents various steps to minimize the cost and losses occurred during extraction. |
