Abstract
Recent advancement in the development of micro computers
in India offers great opportunity for reliable data acquisition,
analysis and feed back control in fermentation process.
Highly automated and computer coupled fermentation
systems for scale up and dynamic optimization of fermentation
processes are being developed at the C.F.T.R.I. with
complete indigenous components. The paper highlights the
system design on the computer coupled fermentors and out
potentials in its development.
