Abstract
In the present study, indigenous LAB capable of producing EPS were selected and characterized from Takrarista, Sandaki, Kanjika and Tushambu, which are Ayurvedic lactic fermented preparations that have been traditionally administered for the effective management of a variety of gastrointestinal maladies.
