Abstract
This investigation focuses on the size reduction studies of betel nut and
extraction of betel nut. The various parameters of size reduction were calculated and
particle size characterization with various popular mathematical models was done.
Further, the extraction yield with respect to the size fractions and different solvents has
been done. The yield variation with various time and temperature combinations has
been studied and the extraction kinetics parameters have been calculated.
