Abstract
The present investigation mainly covers the sugarcane juice processing
employing spray drying and osmotic membrane distillation (OMD). Experiments
were carried out to standardize the process parameters for the production high
shelf life products from sugarcane juice. The Parameters which were optimized
for spray drying of sugarcane juice such as inlet temperature 160℃, feed flow
rate 45ml/min, concentration of carrier material( Maltodextrin) 15% (w/v) and air
pressure 1.5kg/cm2 .
