Abstract

Reproductive response of rats fed turmeric (500 mg/kg body wt.) and its alcoholic extract (60 mg/kg body wt.) was examined for 3 generations. The data obtained suggested that turmeric and its alcoholic extract were safe at the stated levels with respect to reproductive efficiency.
