Abstract

A kit for detn. of persistent pesticide residues in food and water supplies is described. The kit enables rapid identification of pesticides on TLC and chemically treated paper strips. Recommendations for appropriate chromogenic and spray reagents for detn. of specific pesticides are listed together with suggestions on how to relate qualitative to quantitative data.
