Abstract
A shortened procedure for the colorimetric
estimation of phosphorus in foodstuffs has
been outlined by which c. 95 per cent of the
total phosphorus is determined. The presence
of decolllposition products of sugar and protein
in the acid digest does not interfere in the
determination.
