Abstract

FULLERS' EARTH AND ACID-ACTIVATED CLAYS ARE
widely employed in the oil industry for clarification
and decolourization of oilsl • Recent investigations2
at this Institute have indicated the possibility of
using bleaching earths as insecticidal materials. It
was, therefore, of interest to screen the available
decolourizing earths for their insecticidal potencies.
