Abstract
The use of ethylene dibromíde as a fumigant and particularly in combination with carbon
tetrachloride has been known for the last 3 decades. Recent investigations have shown that it is
equally efficient for controlling insect and fungal infestations in grains and root crops like tapioca.
In this article the authors have reviewed some aspects of their developments.
