Abstract
Bakery in India is essentially a smaH-scale
industry. It comprises numerous sm~1l establishments
which are located principally in urban areas.
Its main product is bread. though rolls, buns,
biscuits, pastries, etc., are also prepared as subsidiary
products in many bakeries.
