Abstract
amino acids in the testes and haemolymph of the grasshopper, Poecilocerus pictus, have been analysed. The qualitative and quantitative differences in the composition of amino acids in two systems are reported and the variation is explained on the basis of differences in the intermediary metabolism of different systems.
