Abstract
Banana is cultivated over a wide area in the
Kerala State. Nendran, Poovan and Palayankondan
are the three important varieties grown in
the region.
The present investigation was undertaken with
the object of studying the suitability of these
varieties for purposes of processing. The preliminary
results are presented in this paper.
