Abstract

The relative performance of low- and high-density polyethylene and polypropylene packages was investigted for their ability to give a shelf-life of about 15 days for coffee powder and 30 days for raw coffee seeds. Results showed that 200-gauge HDPE was able to provide a shelf-life for coffee powder of 17 days at 27
