Abstract
Kinetic studies in rats fed 12 mg/kg body wt of heptachlor revealed its accumulation in the ovaries, uterus and adrenal glands within 30 min. These levels then increased some 13-fold in the uterus and 2-fold in the adrenals during pregnancy.
