Abstract

This Dissertation / Report is the outcome of investigation carried out by the creator(s) / author(s) at the department/division of Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysore mentioned below in this page.

Item Type: Student Project Report
Additional Information: A novel fungal metabolite was isolated from A19 culture of CFTRI culture collection for the anti oxidant scavenging property and their percentage of inhibition for the free radical scavenging property. The crude extract from A19 culture was purified by the column chromatography and collected fractions were subjected to DPPH assay to check for the anti oxidant activity. the active fractions were pooled together and they are re column chromatograph, from this the active fraction is identified by assay method and they are subjected to high performance liquid chromatography and Thin layer chromatography for further purification to get antioxidant possessing compound as purified form.
