Abstract

The growth and chemical composition of mangoes grown in various locations in Mysore during 1969 and 1970 are reported with particular attention to fruit composition at harvest and consequent pickling potential. The last week of April and first week of May were found to be the best period for harvesting mangoes for pickling purposes. [See preceding abstr.]
