Abstract
Methyl decanoate, ethyl decanoate, decanal and decanol were synthesized in their pure form. These 4 compounds and decanoic acid were tested with wheat flour extracts as aggregation pheromone mimics for the tenebrionid stored products pest Tribolium castaneum, using bioassays and corrugated traps. Decanal, decanol and methyl decanoate at 1.0 and 0.5
