Abstract
This Dissertation / Report is the outcome of investigation carried out by the creator(s) / author(s) at the department/division of Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysore mentioned below in this page.
Item Type: | Student Project Report |

Additional Information: | The present investigation was undertaken to evaluate the proteolytic microbial load of processing waste of representative species from fresh water and marine environs. The proteolytic organisms associated with fish waste were identified based on several biochemical tests. An attempt was also made to evaluate the effect of pH, temperature and incubation time on the activity of the bacterial protease isolated from the selected proteolytic bacteria. The protease isolated was purified and partially characterized and used for various applications. |
