Additional Information: | The isolates obtained from different sources were characterized biochemically and the DNA amplification by PCR conformed that isolates Wri1 and Rri2 were found to belongs to Genus Pediococcus. Quorum sensing phenomena was observed in test culture C20 (Enterococcus faecium). Under stress conditions bacteriocin production was not observed because of interference of different stress with inducer peptide.Inducer peptide was added externally by partially purifying it. IP was obtained from chloroform extract, cell adsorption and desorption, ammonium sulphate precipitation, cell free supernatant and XAD adsorption. The residual obtained from XAD adsorption was found to be rich in IP and also it was not showing any bacteriocins activity. |
