Additional Information: Development of probiotic based fruit juice beverages (pineapple, orange and mango) possessing therapeutic and health benefits with lactic acid bacteria was investigated. The juices of pineapple, orange and mango were extracted according to the procedures described in materials and methods. The juices were found to be fresh, good colour and strong and pleasant aroma. These juices were used for preparation of ready to serve (RTS) beverages that helps to maintain the viability and stability of the probiotics.
